LORD To Support SAXON In Australia

October 3, 2007

Australian metallers LORD have been confirmed as one of the support acts for SAXON on their upcoming tour of Australia. Also appearing on the bill is Melbourne's BLACK MAJESTY. The dates are as follows:

Oct. 24 - The Forum, Sydney
Oct. 25 - The Hi-Fi Melbourne

LORD's new album, "Ascendence", was released in August in Japan through Soundholic Records and in Australia via Modern Invasion Music.

Regarding what the album sounds like, LORD mainman Lord Tim previously said, "Any DUNGEON fans in the house? You won't be disappointed! If DUNGEON were to continue instead of disbanding in 2005, this is the album we would have made next (for all intents and purposes, LORD is DUNGEON: Mark II anyway). It's got all of the things you enjoyed about DUNGEON — fast songs, lots of big catchy choruses, solos galore, amazing drumming and heaps of diversity from song to song, since we're fans of all styles of metal."
